So we had our sails up most of the day, flying along at 7+ kts at times. We're in the anchorage now and the wind is still gusting, blowing us around the bay.
As windy as it was today, we never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. That might not be true tomorrow according to the forecast. They're predicting 40-50mph winds. Ugh! That's just too much. We've decided to sit tight tomorrow rather than go out in it. The following day, Friday, we'll do two relatively short days that will add up to a longish 43 miles. That will put us back on schedule. Keeping to schedule is important only because we have crew flying in and out when we get to Prince Rupert.
Sloppy Joes for dinner tonight. We made the sauce from scratch and ate them with buttered Brussels sprouts and toasted buns.
Tomorrow we're prepared to be a little bored. We'll have the whole day sitting on the boat.
