yogurt

We exited the Broughtons yesterday morning, an early start that allowed us to hit the narrows in Chatham Channel at slack tide. That put is in our anchorage around one, just in time to be thrown around by gusty winds for an afternoon. It settled later though, into a lovely evening.

I made yogurt and transferred it to the fridge before going to bed.
This morning I found the yogurt had turned out perfectly. Thick and tangy.

We're having cream of wheat for breakfast this morning, with peaches and home made yogurt. Yum!

We're off to Helmken island today, an anchorage that looks out onto Current Passage. Then tomorrow we'll hit the staging point for a transit of Seymour Narrows on Friday. That will put us in Campbell River in Friday afternoon.
