Breakfast blog

Oats for breakfast. Berries, bananas, walnuts, plain yogurt, honey. It's the same thing I eat when I'm at home except our quantities here are only meant to last for a few days. Then we'll do the same thing without the fruit. We'll run out of yogurt too at some point, but we have milk to make some if we're motivated.

I found ten cartons of shelf stable milk while provisioning in Seattle. We're two or three into them now.

We move to Larsen Hbr today, a rocky patch of kelp infested protection on the edge of Hecate Strait that will cut ten miles off our crossing tomorrow. Some people go straight from this anchorage. Tomorrow is better if the forecasts are accurate, so we might as well work our way over there.

We'll get started at 9am this morning. Only ten miles to go, so we'll use the smoothest part of the day. Until 9 there's oatmeal to eat and a blog post to upload.
