Quijote’s Sunday Bath

The crew of Opus and Quijote walked a mile up the highway that runs through town to visit the local museum. It was well done. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Campbell River.

Matt and I took care of scrubbing Quijote, filling her water tanks, and shopping for provisions this afternoon. It was good to get all that done. We thought of a few things that we'd like to add to our food stores though, so another trip to the supermarket is in our future. Thankfully it is within east walking distance.

The wind really kicked up this morning. I was thankful we weren't trying to navigate through the marina in it. Tomorrow it's expected to settle down to light winds and stay that way for several days. I'd like light wind for moving the Boat out of the marina, and for rounding Cape Caution. Other than that, I don't mind a little wind as long as it's from behind and not against the current.
